Essential Responsibilities:
: Driving project execution as a Program Manager across the following teams.
: Platform and Systems Infrastructure
: Platform Media Services
: Platform Web Browsers and browser based solutions
: Infotainment Security
: Communication frameworks and Stacks
: Android Platform Solutions (Android customized for use in Infotainment)
: support of budget planning and controlling of programs and compilation of reports
: Development of Project schedules, Risk register and cross functional alignment within organization
: Regular target/actual comparison for program KPIs
: Technical steering for of functional areas
: Ensure transparent reporting towards Platform Management.
: Conducting team meetings.
: Project execution according to HARMAN Project Life Cycle Management Processes (PLM)
: Position involves functional ownership of all development activities inthe mentioned areas including the deliveries from IDC teams
: Ensure that operations achieve quality, cost and delivery targets. Focus will be on driving competency groups across different Infotainment domains listed above.
: Be a core member of the process initiatives like CMMi and ASPICE
: Proactively support Program Manager to identify and feed into the respective stakeholder any issues that need attention from the business.
: Lead the team in continuously improving the current Services that are being delivered from the India R and D centre to both Domestic and Global Programs
: Accountable to deliver with optimal resource utilization within the agreed business needs
: Work closely with the key stakeholders for technical enablement of the business
Develop talent within the India R and D centre to become part of the global talent pool.
Basic Qualifications/ Skills Required:
: Engineering graduate with 12+ years of experience
: Prior experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously, spread across geographies
: Strong Technical Focus on the infotainment areas applicable to this role
: Experience in product development processes, engineering resources management, and engineering process implementation such as CMMI or SPICE
: Very good understanding of Engineering processes, especially requirements engineering and development processes
: Strong process background
: Leadership Skills
: Strong networking capabilities across Business Units in a multinational environmentEligibility Requirements:
: Willingness to travel when business need arises
: Willingness to work in an office in Bangalore, India
: Willingness to submit to a background screen and a drug test
