Description Responsibilities of Position: Work in a global team as an Individual contributor with significant responsibilities of electronic design. The responsibilities include schematic development, component selection, detailed design, verification testing and interfacing with other functional/support teams (such as mechanical, manufacturing process, simulation, drafting, ECAD, evaluation, marketing, supply chain and external test labs). Additional responsibilities include technical report generation, documentation and progress reporting. It is also expected that the candidate would develop technical expertise is selected product line and develop proposals/growth ideas&work for improving the product line. Candidate is expected to have in depth knowledge in electronics and sensors. He/She needs to have proven record of design delivery in a NPI team for at least 6 yrs. He/She should have strong communication and presentation skills. Qualifications QUALIFICATION: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electronics/instrumentation/ElectricalEXPERIENCE: 8 to 10 years ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Sound knowledge of Analog and Digital design.À? Hands-on knowledge of sensors, instrumentation&interfaces.À? Experience in circuit designing with knowledge of circuit analysis, layout and testing À? Very good fundamental knowledge in electrical and electronics engineering. À? Hands-on knowledge of designing with op-amps, transistors, mosfets, linear and switching regulators À? Must have exhibited strong ownership in the full life cycle projectsÀ? Conceptualize the product and translate the requirements into CTQs for design À? Predict and quantify technical risks in the project. À? Experience on full design life cycle projects. À? Experience in basic circuit simulation (PSPICE/SABER) and Matlab analysis. À? Experience in PCB schematics&layout design tools (ORCAD/Mentor Graphics).À? Design for manufacturability, assembly&testing expertise.À? Hands-on experience on EMI/EMC&best practices in the design.À? Understanding of product certification requirements and DO-160 Aero standards. À? Demonstration of usage of six sigma tools in projects is essential - GB certification preferred. À? Having cross functional expertise is an added advantage. À?
