Total Years of Experience required for the role is 4.5 years to 6.5 years.
Experience in development of Database packages and stored procedures using SQL for Web Based applications. Solid experience in SQL Database Administration, System Analysis, Design, Development and Support of MS SQL Servers 2008, 2005, 2000 and 7.0 in Production, QA, Reporting Services, Analysis Services, Development environments and Replication and Cluster Server Environments. Expertise in Administration, Database Design, Performance Analysis and Production Support for Large (VLDB) and Complex Databases. Experience in Database Backup, Recovery and Disaster Recovery procedures. Solid experience and outstanding knowledge of high availability SQL Server solutions, including Log shipping, Replication, SQL Profiler and SQL Server clustering, Linked Server Creation and issues, Re:Indexing, Update Statistics, Shrink Database, Removal of trace files/old log files, Database mirroring, Database Snapshots. Very good T:SQL Programming skills. Excellent backend skills in creating SQL objects like Tables, Stored Procedures, Views, Indexes, Triggers, Rules, Defaults, user defined data types and functions, user profiles, relational database models, and data integrity. Using Performance Monitor/Profiler to solve Dead Locks/Long running queries. Import and Export of various data formats using DTS, BCP, Bulk Insert and SQL 2005 Integration Services. Expertise with Table Design, Index Design and Performance Tuning. Involved in Optimizing code and improving efficiency in databases including re:indexing, updating statistics, recompiling stored procedures and performing other maintenance tasks. Involved in Migrating the SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2005 (Side by Side). Experience in Replication : Snapshot and Transactional and extensive knowledge in Merge replication.
