The Team:
The Scrum Master position is a key member of the Program Management team. The Scrum Master will have the responsibility and accountability for working with the Product Owner, Engineering Lead
as well as other internal and external work groups as necessary to ensure timely completion of customer deliverables. The SM will facilitate the Scrum process in Software development, help to resolve impediments and create an environment conducive to team self:organization. They will have a strong leadership role and promote improved engineering practices and shield the team from external interference and distractions.
Experience:
Excellent business process understanding
Experience managing cross:functional project teams simultaneously under tight deadlines
Knowledge of software development processes and technical issues
Highly developed group facilitation and interpersonal skills
Team leadership
Experience within an internet company and/or wireless telecom company (or experience in working within a group that focused on internet and/or wireless products and services)
Skills:
Strong people management skills
Ability to drive and work with the product coreor release team to closure on complex issues involving conflict
Flexibility and ability to properly prioritize (Direction and priority shifts are apt to occur frequently.)
Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills
Education:
Bachelors Degree is required
