Role Summary/Purpose: Come be a part of the newly:formed Enterprise Data IT team at GE Capital HQ, which is taking on some of the biggest data challenges in the company to support emerging management and regulatory needs including Liquidity Risk Management, Basel III Regulatory Capital, and Model Risk Management. The Enterprise Data IT team builds capabilities to manage data as an asset for GE Capital using Big Data, Analytic, Meta Data, Master Data, Data Quality, and BI technologies including (but not limited to)
Essential Responsibilities: Contd,
OFSAA (Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications), Hadoop, and OBIEE. Designs, develops, modifies, adapts orimplements short and long term solutionsto support business and enterprise data operations. Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, and implements software solutions.
Essential Responsibilities:
:Develops/Maintains Enterprise Data program logic within a specific technical domain such as SQL, ETL, Batch Processing, Scheduling, Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation (FSDF), Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA), or OBIEE
:Maintains associated layers of the technology stack (Database, Application, Web, etc)
:Serves as an lead applicationtechnical expert on specific aligned applications.
:Works with projects teams and systems analysts to translate technical requirements into optimally coded solutions which adhere to GE standards for architecture, security, stability and incident support.
:Demonstrates command of multiple programminglanguages and basic system analysis techniques.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors degree (or 4 years equivalent work experience) with 2+ years IT experience
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Desired Characteristics: 5+ years of software development experience involved in all phasesof the software development lifecycleExperience maintaing large enterprise systems and complex data requirementsBroad knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, processes and controlsStrong organizational skills : ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyKnowledge of IT controllership methodologies and standards; demonstrated experience though project execution compliant with systems development life cycle methodology
