Role Summary/Purpose: Come be a part of the newly:formed Enterprise Data IT team at GE Capital HQ, which is taking on some of the biggest data challenges in the company to support emerging management and regulatory needs including Liquidity Risk Management, Basel III Regulatory Capital, and Model Risk Management. The Enterprise Data IT team builds capabilities to manage data as an asset for GE Capital using Big Data, Analytic, Meta Data, Master Data, Data Quality, and BI technologies including (but not limited to)
Essential Responsibilities: Contd,
OFSAA (Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications), Hadoop, and OBIEE. Primarily responsible for designing,developing and maintaining integrated solutions to support business and enterprise data operations
Essential Responsibilities
:Develops/Maintains Enterprise Data program logic within a specific technical domain such as SQL, ETL, Batch Processing, Scheduling, Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation (FSDF), Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA), or OBIEE
:Maintains associated layers of the technology stack (Database, Application, Web, etc)
: Provides application software development services or technical analysis for a defined project
: Advises and offers input on process to design, develop modify and adapts and system architecture, network systems for customer use
: Actively participate in discussions with various teams regarding implementation and design of solutions
: Ensure all technology solutions include appropriate controls that comply with Sarbanes:Oxley Requirements
: Apply Architecture strategies to development efforts
: Assess new technologies to enhance the development process and optimize application delivery
: Enforce and Ensure Functional architect (use of templates, common designs)
: Performs root cause analysis of system outages / bugs
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors degree (or 4 years equivalent years of work experience)
