Role Summary/Purpose: The .NET developer will be responsible for writing code to support and enhance the Norad application, used by the Asset Management Portfolio team to manage end:of:term quotes and requests. This role will interface with business users, production support, and other developers to troubleshoot incidents and respond to service requests to insure application availability. Role includes analysis, technical design, and development to resolve defects and support product enhancements.
Essential Responsibilities: : Proactively monitors the support queue of reported defects and incidents.
: Performs technical analysis to identify and troubleshoot application code:related issues.
: Develops and implements technical solutions for defects and enhancement requests.
: Participates in code reviews and ensures that all solutions are aligned to predefined architectural specifications.
: Manages programming and design evolution across multi:generation product releases.
: Designs, implements and maintains the application:specific blueprints, life:cycle plans, and roadmaps.
: Assists in development of User Acceptance Test strategy, test plans, test cases and interpretation of test results
: Builds functional knowledge and subject matter expertise in the Asset Management Portfolio space.
: Ensures standard release processes (e.g. tollgate reviews, architecture reviews, etc.) are followed
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related computer field
: 3 + years experience in Windows:based large:scale application development using .NET
1.1 or higher with web:services design and development.
: Knowledge of Infragistics.
: Experience with Oracle 11g/ PLSQL and understanding of relational databases, including stored procedures, packages, and triggers.
: Application Integration experience with web services and MQ
: Some experience with, StarTeam or other change/configuration management tools.
: Strong Debugging and Troubleshooting Expertise
: Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
