Globalization Services, Financials and Service Industries
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Globalization Services (GS) acts as 'One Face to the Field Organization and SAP Customers' for all globalization topics: internationalization, localization and translation.
Globalization represents the process of developing software that addresses all business issues associated with enabling a company to operate worldwide.
Every global business solution must support both global processes and local business practices and laws.
The objective of Globalization Services is to enable core business processes on a global basis while still providing ease:of:use for local user communities.
We are looking for an Area Product Owner responsible for the key end:to:end processes primarily in the area of Financials covering FI, FI:CA and related industries, as well as Public Sector Accounting and Funds Management. The Area Product Owner is accountable for the product strategy related to these products and locations thus ensuring successful and profitable delivery of solutions to our customers.
:Take the responsibility for delivery, quality and costs
:Define and prioritize product backlog
:Translate customer requirements into product requirements and features
:Work with key strategic customers to roll in requirements as well as ensure that the customers can productively drive value from our products
:Ensures close cooperation with Solution Management / Local Product Managers, other product owners
:Define the product strategy and roadmap
:Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
:Support key sales deals by presenting product roadmap, performing demos to customers etc.
:Brief senior management and executives internally regarding the product
:Enables and ensures a great performance of the scrum teams
:Ensure transparency over implementation progress and maturity of backlog items
:Coordinate dependencies to otherproduct teams in and outside Globalization Services
:Drive success during ramp:up (support the acquiring of ramp:up customers)

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
WORK EXPERIENCE
:Degree in computer or natural science or economics
:Excellent analytical skills
:Very good powers of comprehension and high quality commitment
:Willingness and ability to quickly acquire understanding in new areas, in business processes as well as in technologies
:Knowledge (B1, ByD or ERP) or strong willingness to learn on the application domain Financials
:Excellent knowledge in SAP technologies,
preferably experience in HANA and S/4HANA
:Fluent English
:Constructive and open style of communication
:Flexibility when dealing with other mentalities and cultures
:Willingness to travel (occasionally)
:Excellent teamwork skills
:Project management experience
:6 or more years in SAP application development on ABAP
