Connected Data Operations
We help the business take offers to market and manage products, services, pricing and promotions across the life cycle. This puts us in a central role coordinating with functions across the company to deliver NPI and Pricing services with speed, efficiency and quality. CDOS takes pride in measuring operational performance and has a trusted relationship working with Product Managers, Services, and Sales managing data operations for the company.
Role & Responsibilities
● Drive implementation of business processes such as New Product Introduction and End of Life Planning
● Manage setup and life cycle changes for multiple Cisco HW and SW technologies. This includes setting up New Product Introduction (NPI) offers in Cisco’s ERP systems involving Bill of Material (BOM) structures, writing and managing business rules, and managing the orderability status. It involves working with BU product managers, NPI project managers, pricing and service operation teams to provide implementation best practices for product structure, and implementing business rules logic in commerce platforms (sales and ordering systems).
● Manage setup for one or more Service Programs. It involves creating new services, data & rules, SKUs, and pricing.
● Evaluate new business models and deals supporting these models, collaborate with business architects, drive and shape solutions, implement solutions and measure its effectiveness
● Solve back end transactional issues for configuration and ordering related issues. This will require close working relationships with organizations such as manufacturing and services operations, customer services, and IT.
● Lead and participate in process improvement projects and operations efficiency improvements projects that follow Six Sigma+ frameworks
● Make an impact working with global team across multiple countries using our best collaboration technology!
Minimum Qualifications
● Graduation in one of the streams from Engineering, Science, Commerce (BE, BSc, BCom)
● 6-8 years of experience (preferably in Operations or IT) is essential
● Product Configuration experience preferred
● Service Programs and Service level offerings experience preferred
● Pricing and Discounting Operations experience preferredClick here to enter text.
● Comfortable managing large data sets, extremely analytical, with background in data management systems
Desired Skills
● Fluent English Communication Skills. Strong communication skills, including the ability to influence and persuade others and to collaborate across the business with senior leaders
● Strong knowledge and understanding of interdependencies between business processes
● Strong understanding of all back office systems leveraged in support of the business including Oracle, Pricing, and Salesforce.
● Strong project management skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple related initiatives
● Foster Teamwork by working cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness
● Performance and metrics driven. Make decisions by assessing situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization
