Role Summary/Purpose: The LCS : Anesthesia and Respiratory Care business is expanding capability to verify and validate the hardware and sofltware releases of our products. The individual will be responsible for planning and execution of ARC products verification at subsystem and system level for software and/or hardware releases to prove conformance to functional, quality and regulatory specifications. This is an exciting opportunity to join a cross:functional, cross:cultural R and D team as Product/Systems V and V engineer
Essential Responsibilities: This is a great opportunity fora person who has passion to contribute as V and V engineer to ensure that lifesaving healthcare products are built with highest safety and quality.
Key responsibilities include (but not limieted to):
:Plan the individual V and V activities at system/sub system levels
:Design Test cases
:Peer review of test cases and design
:Execute test cases
:Documenting any anomalies (product non:conformances) discovered as defects. Interface with other engineering disciplines to research, correct, and close anomalies
:Prepare test setup required for Test execution
:Verification of compliance to relevant standards(e.g. IEC 60601:1 etc), international directives(e.g. MDD, RoHS, WEE etc)
:Participate in technical reviews and contributing to tech discussions
:Contribute in decision making for make/stop a release
:Analyze requirements and report out testable/not testable
:Report out defects inproducts and design
:Development of new test systems and maintenance of existing test systems
:Participation in project meetings, project reviews, and specification reviews
Quality Specific Goals:
:Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality ManagementPolicy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
:Complete all planned Quality and Compliance training within the defined deadlines
:Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
:Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
:Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible
Qualifications/Requirements:
:Graduation in Electrical/Electronics/Biomedical/Computer Science Engineering or similar technical degree.
:2:5 years of experience in performing product verification, preferably in a medical environment
:Should have very Good Knowledge of sub sytem and/or system testing methodology/processes and product development life c
