Role Summary/Purpose: .Serves as Business Intelligence (BI) expert. lead BI projects under Shared Services Solution Delivery Center and execute consistent BI strategy across Enterprise Standard Chart of Account Program.
Essential Responsibilities:
: Manages all aspects of one or more medium to large and/or complex projects / milestones from initiation through closure
: Develops, sells and implements comprehensive project plans, beginning with project team structure and resource assignment, and ending with a control plan identifying both business process metrics and IT platform quality requirements
: Manages daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on:time, on:budget, as:per program timelines
:Clearly communicate project status, issues, risks, plans, etc. to IT Leadership
: Manages SLAs associated with project.
: Work with Key users, Application Owner and BI Architects to plan transition to Enterprise Standard COA and execute as per plan.
: Establishes and manages relationships with KeyStake holders and users, leads and assists in planning reporting initiatives
Qualifications/Requirements: Quality Specific Goals:
: Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
: Complete all planned Quality and Compliance training within the defined deadlines
: Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
: Responsible for data integrity of the system inventory, as applicable
: Responsible for the validation of all GxP relevant applications and maintaining the validated state of those applications
: Aware of and comply with the change management work instruction
: Develop an open quality culture within the organization that fosters issue discussion and decision:making basedon quality and compliance objectives Qualifications:
: Minimum five (8) years of experience in IT preferably in the BI space including no less than 4 years of project management experience
: Experience with Agile software development methodologies
: Demonstrated project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication
: Project management experience in global environments
: Good working knowledge of database design concepts and SQL
: Good working knowledge and exposure to Business intelligence and data warehousing tools and technologies like Informatica, Cognos, Business Objects, OBIEE, etc
: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence at all levels in the organization
: Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization
: Strong leadership skills
: Analytic,creative and business focused problem solver
: Ability to learn complex business systems/processes and develop innovative solutions to meet the business requirements
: BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent
