Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading, and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. Alongside this vital service delivery role, Operations provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm's assets and its reputation.BUSINESS UNIT ? Client On-boarding Client Onboarding is responsible for facilitating the establishment and maintenance of client relationship within the firm, including, but not limited to due diligence, supporting documentation, account opening and client configuration. Client Onboarding in Bangalore facilitates client due diligence along with the maintenance of client static data within the framework of the Compliance requirements for the Securities Division. The group primarily manages the accuracy of static data for new and existing accounts through direct communication from Clients, Agent Banks&Internal business units. As a member of Client Onboarding, the individual will be instrumental in improving the efficiency and accuracy of the account opening process and configuring clients for the firm's electronic trading business across all regions and products for institutional Client services. The individual will work closely with other members of Client Onboarding and Middle Offices, as well as technology, sales traders, and compliance. Interaction with external clients required (Operations counterpart). Client Onboarding has a global presence -including Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangalore, London, Singapore, Malaysia, New Jersey and Salt Lake City.Policy and Quality Assurance Team The Global Policy and Quality Assurance Team was created in 2010 to develop and manage a globally consistent testing framework for on-boarding requirements, manage the quality assurance of internal and external audits, and coordinate the Policy Change Management process.The team has presence in various offices including London, Singapore, Salt Lake City and Bangalore Principal responsibilities include the following- ? Conduct QA reviews as part of non-AML QA processes ? Lead QA feedback sessions and communicate QA results to the onboarding teams ? Assist with audit preparations and inquiries? Provide on-the-ground support and escalation for BAU policy and exceptions inquiries ? Assist with developing and fine tuning of Regulatory Change related policies and procedures ? Initial understanding of non-AML regulatory landscape (e.g. FATCA, Dodd-Frank, EMIR etc.) is desirable Basic Qualifications? Minimum 3-5 years work experience in relevant function? Excellent organisational skills ? Bachelors Degree Preferred Qualifications? Ability to deliver / Attention to details&deadlines along with adhering to risk and controls. ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills written and oral; confident in interaction with all levels of employees. ? Energetic and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. ? Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting, prioritize projects to meet tight deadlines.? Forward thinking with the ability to assert new ideas and follow them through / finds alternative solutions and identifies clear objectives. ? Be responsible for, willing to continuously invest in learning / training to stay abreast of constantly changing policy requirements including keeping abreast of industry developments related to AML and be able to demonstrate this.? Where needed act as the intermediary between Compliance, Legal and the business to achieve commercial outcomes that does not compromise our ability to comply with the AML Policy. ?
